1. Agreement to these terms

By using CityMaply — browsing listings, submitting a city/area/mohalla/place, voting, adding a review, reporting an issue, or sending us a suggestion — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What CityMaply is

CityMaply exists to help people find and discover useful local places and services near them — hospitals, schools, markets, mosques, home tutors and more — organised by city, area and mohalla, built entirely by the community that lives there. Anyone can add a place they know about, and anyone can benefit from what others have added. Content is submitted by members of the public and reviewed by our team before most of it goes live. CityMaply is a free, informational directory — it doesn't book, broker, staff, or take a fee for any service listed, and listing on the site is not a recommendation or endorsement by CityMaply of that place, business, or individual.

3. No account required

You don't need to register or provide an email or phone number to use CityMaply. Because submissions, votes, reviews, reports, and suggestions aren't tied to a verified account, we can't guarantee the identity of any contributor, and any name shown alongside a submission or review is whatever the contributor chose to type in.

4. Who can use CityMaply

CityMaply is intended for general audiences and isn't directed at children. If you're under the age required to form a binding agreement in your country (typically 18, or the age of digital consent where lower), you may only use CityMaply with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

5. Accuracy of listings

Listings, addresses, phone numbers, ratings, and reviews are contributed and voted on by the community and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect — a place shown as "Verified" has passed admin review at the time of approval, but details can change afterwards (e.g. a business closing or moving). Always confirm important details — especially for hospitals, clinics, or anything time-sensitive — before relying on them. In an emergency, always use official emergency numbers (e.g. Rescue 1122, Police 15) rather than a number found on CityMaply. CityMaply is not responsible for decisions made based on listing content.

6. No identity verification

CityMaply has no login, signup, or account system — anyone can submit a listing (including for categories like Home Tutors, or any other individual or business offering a service) with just a name and phone number, without proving who they are. We do not verify the identity, qualifications, character, or background of any person or business listed on the site, in any category. Contacting, hiring, inviting into your home, or otherwise engaging with anyone found through CityMaply is entirely your own decision and at your own risk — it is your responsibility to satisfy yourself about who you're dealing with (e.g. meeting first in a public place, checking references, and using your own judgement, especially where children are involved) before proceeding. CityMaply is not a party to any such interaction and is not liable for any loss, injury, dispute, or harm arising from it.

7. Submitting content

When you submit a listing, review, vote, report, or suggestion, you agree that:

• The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and not knowingly false or misleading (for suggestions, this means not knowingly submitting misleading feedback, e.g. posing as multiple different people).
• You won't submit content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.
• You won't submit content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• You won't impersonate another person or business, or submit content on behalf of a business you have no connection to in a misleading way.
• You won't use automated tools (bots/scrapers) to submit content, flood the suggestion box, or manipulate votes/ratings.
• You grant CityMaply a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, edit for formatting/clarity, and moderate the content you submit, for as long as it remains published or retained on the site.

8. Moderation & termination

We reserve the right to review, edit, reject, or remove any submission, review, vote, report, or suggestion at our discretion — including content that is spam, abusive, inaccurate, or violates these terms — without prior notice. We may also block or restrict access for any visitor or IP address we reasonably believe is abusing the site, at any time and without notice.

9. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, including the admin panel.
• Interfere with or disrupt the site's normal operation (e.g. excessive automated requests).
• Use the site to collect personal data about other users beyond what they've voluntarily posted publicly.
• Use CityMaply for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law.

10. Intellectual property

The CityMaply name, logo, and the site's design, layout, and underlying code belong to CityMaply and may not be copied, reused, or redistributed without permission. This doesn't affect ownership of the individual listings, reviews, or other content contributed by users, which remains with the contributor subject to the licence in Section 6.

11. Copyright infringement

If you believe content on CityMaply infringes your copyright, contact us via our Contact page with (a) a description of the copyrighted work, (b) the URL of the material you believe infringes it, and (c) your contact details. We'll investigate and remove infringing content where appropriate.

12. Third-party links, directions & advertising

CityMaply may link out to third-party services (e.g. map/directions providers) for convenience, and shows advertising through Google AdSense to help keep the site free — see our Privacy Policy for details. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of those external services or advertisements.

13. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

CityMaply is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CityMaply and its contributors are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience arising from your use of the site, reliance on any listing, review, or other content on it, or any interaction with anyone found through it. Since CityMaply is free to use, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us to use it — which is nil.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold CityMaply harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from content you submit or your violation of these terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This doesn't remove any consumer-protection rights you may have under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.

16. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect.

17. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. We'll change the "last updated" date above whenever we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
